New agreement between SDW & GOA allows AltaLIS to forge ahead
AltaLIS has been working in partnership with Spatial Data Warehouse (SDW) and the Government of Alberta (GOA) for 17 years now, managing, maintaining and distributing quality base mapping datasets. Much has been accomplished in recent years and with new agreements put in place with SDW and GOA, we at AltaLIS look forward to our continued collaboration into the next decade and beyond.
Promising Partnership between Spatial Data Warehouse and the Alberta Government
Spatial Data Warehouse (SDW) rebrands to Alberta Data Partnerships (ADP)
The Government of Alberta’s Open Government Program seeks to create a stronger, transparent relationship between the public service and Albertans by providing access to government data and information.
With this in mind there are four goals that the Government of Alberta has in place:
SDW is rebranding as Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd. (ADP) to better reflect our organization and mandate. ADP’s tagline is “Sustainable Spatial Data for Responsible Development”.
Responsible development means that the way we regulate, build, and operate in Alberta is as transparent and efficient as possible to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
